Donald Harold Schuh, born and raised in Saint Louis, Missouri, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in education. He enjoys traveling with his wife across the United States and Europe and has a passion for wood carving. With a background in teaching high school and industrial education, Donald spent 31 years working in an electrical utility, finishing his career as an environmental scientist. His philosophy of life is centered on happiness and kindness, values that influence both his personal and professional life.
Inspired by his deep admiration for his parents’ experiences during World War II, Donald wrote his upcoming book, “Get the Hell Out of There! – The Untold Stories of USS Helena CL50 and USS Houston CL81 During World War II.” Through this book, he aims to ensure that the hardships and resilience of his parents are never forgotten.
